mortierbrigade asks an inconvenient question for ZIJkant and Equal Pay Day

In 2023, the European Parliament approved the Pay Transparency Act. A guideline that demands more salary transparency of companies. Only through more pay transparency, employees will know if they are being paid correctly, and thus close the wage gap. Nowadays, men still earn 21% more than women.

As this is a guideline, it’s still not an obligation. Talking about your salary should not remain a taboo in 2024. That’s why mortierbrigade and directing duo Lionel Goldstein (Czar) created a new film for ZIJkant for Equal Pay Day on March 17. They played with a question that is nervously avoided within most companies: “How much money do you make?”.
